Seraph and Alice

I had gotten to know Seraph when we were both students in Nanyang Polytechnic. I hadn’t had the slightest idea back then that I would become a wedding photographer. 8 years after we graduated, and about 5 years since I started Multifolds, Seraph decided to approach me to shoot his entire wedding. I was extremely honoured and elated to do so.

I’ll show you the lovescapade I did for Seraph and his better half, Alice, in another post!

The Preparations

One of the biggest highlights for a wedding would be the morning where the groom comes to pick up his bride. I didn’t have to get Alice to smile as she exuded happiness the entire morning.

The Groom and Gate Crash Segment

This was one of the more epic gatecrashes I’ve witnessed. I loved the Marvel masks, and also the hilarious stints that the groom and the groomsmen were put through. Despite the many hurdles the men endured, everyone of them seemed to enjoy the gatecrash a lot.

“Choose your ang bao, ladies,” they said.

The pinnacle of the comedic gatecrash had to be when Seraph was blind-folded and led into the “torture room”, where he was given a fake tattoo.

Bridal Party shots

Time should be dedicated for photos for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen every wedding. For all the handwork they have put in, it would be nice to reward them with photographs to relive the moments.

The Solemnisation

The Emotions

This was perhaps one of the more memorable weddings I’ve covered. My photographs encompassed an entire spectrum of emotions; from laughter to tears, this is what a wedding was meant to be.
